Lucknow, 30 August : Students of City Montessori School showered their love on the brave soldiers who guard Indian borders by sending them beautiful hand-made rakhis. Under the leadership of CMS President and MD, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kindon, and Principal of CMS Station Road Campus, Mrs Deepali Gautam, 5 students of CMS Station Road Campus representing all the girl students of CMS presented 15,000 rakhis to Major General Alok Kacker, AVSM, General Officer Commanding, Madhya Uttar Pradesh Sub Area and requested him to send these rakhis to the Indian soldiers.

CMS President, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, as well as CMS students tied rakhis on the wrists of army men present on the occasion. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer, Mr Hari Om Sharma.
Mr Sharma said that these girl students, in an informal talk, said that they are proud to send these rakhis to the soldiers who serve the nation and that we pray for their long lives. These are the men of courage, who guard the frontiers of our motherland in all types of weather. It is due to them only we live peacefully in our country and can work collectively to develop our nation.
